Div. 35 Goes to Camp
Our year end camp at RockRidge Canyon was an amazing experience for all. Students participated in a variety of activities, including dragon boating, beach volleyball, ziplining, ball hockey, swimming, roasting marshmallows, and snipe hunting. Watch the video to see the great time had by all. Thank you to all parents for everything you did this year to help make our camp a success.

Div. 35 Goes Global
Last week, one of our final field trips of the year was to Global TV BC in Burnaby. We got to tour the studio, editing booth and newsroom during the Noon News Hour. Everyone at Global was very kind and willing to explain a multitude of editing and production tools to our class.
The best part of the field trip was getting to be on the set of the Noon News while it was live, and then our entire class got to be on the news. Michael C. even got to share a seat with Wesla Wong while she was doing the weather!
Hopefully our families saw us waving to them on the news. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and none of us will ever forget it.
It was a very cool way to wrap up the year with our classmates in Div. 35. Thanks to Jill for organizing the tour and for being our tour guide. We had a fantastic time and learned lots.

Year End Buddy Field Trip
On Thursday, our class went to the Spray Park with our buddy classes. The cool weather prevented us from going in the water but we all had an awesome time playing on the playground and the field. There were games of soccer and cooperative California Kick Ball to play, plus we got to have a picnic.
However, the best part of the day was the candy toss. Who knew ninety children could pick up so much off the ground in so little time. Probably not their parents!
Thanks to Mrs. Funk and Mrs. Fitkall for helping us organize. A year end tradition has been created.
